At last, a working guide to the SOUTHERN HEMISPHERE night sky. We're one of the very few stockists of this unique and brilliant device. You set the rotating disc to the date and time, and the window displays the stars and constellations - the disc is set for approx Auckland latitudes so those further south will need to apply a small correction factor. Obvuiously not all the stars shown are visible to the naked eye - there's a code explaining the magnitudes of brightness too. But basically , find key constellations (eg Southern Cross), and away you go. Package is a flat 22cm square containing similar-sized rotating disc.
