Classic science toy favourite. The World's simplest motor supplies you with instructions and the gear you need - mounting base, magnet, a coil of copper wiring, metal supports. For 8+, but adult supervision hepful cos construction is tricky - eg when they say 'scrape the enamel off the top of the wiring' they really mean it - it won't work if you don't . Ditto - 'but not the bottom'.
